At The Weigh Station, our special menu encompasses everything from Air Fryer dishes and a unique spin on pizza to ways to enjoy your Thanksgiving spread! We want our patients to feel confident in their nutritional choices, and we are here to support you in making balanced decisions when heading to the grocery store. Knowing what you plan to fix ahead of time allows you to make a list and stick to it instead of roaming the aisles and grabbing items you don’t need. Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is a time to gather with friends and family while giving thanks and enjoying a delicious meal around the table. If you are going through one of our weight loss programs or in the maintenance phase and worried about staying on track during the holiday season, we have you covered with our comprehensive Thanksgiving menu!

Pizza
The Weigh Station is happy to provide our patients with a way to still enjoy pizza while reaching or maintaining their health goals. Check out our pizza recipe that the whole family is sure to enjoy!
STAGE 2 PIZZA CRUST
Crust:
- 3 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 ounce cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 egg
- Pinch garlic powder
- Pinch basil
Toppings:
- 2 tablespoons ketchup (no sugar added)
- 12 slices pepperoni, about 3/4 ounces
- 2 ounces cooked, crumbled Italian sausage, about 1/2 cup
- 1-2 fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced, about 1 ounce
- 1 ounce red onion, very thinly sliced
- 2 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Pinch garlic powder
- Pinch basil, optional
Line a 9-inch round cake pan with parchment paper or nonstick foil. In a small bowl, mix the crust ingredients well. Dump the crust mixture into the pan and spread in an even layer with your fingers. Be sure to completely cover the bottom of the pan. Bake at 450º for 5 minutes then turn the oven down to 400º and bake another 4-5 minutes until the crust is nicely browned on the top and bottom. Don’t let it get too dark around the edges.
Keep the oven rack in the center position and turn on the broiler. Spread the sauce over the crust and top with about two thirds of the cheese. Arrange the meats, mushrooms and onions over the cheese as desired. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the toppings to help hold them on. Broil the pizza until the toppings are hot and the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 4-5 minutes.

AIR FRYER RECIPES
CILANTRO LIME AIR FRYER SHRIMP SKEWERS
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound raw shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1/2 tsp garlic purée
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- juice of 1 lime
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
Directions: Soak 6 wooden skewers for 15-20 minutes before needed. Preheat air fryer to 350℉. Mix lime juice, garlic, paprika, cumin and salt in a bowl. Add shrimp and stir evenly to coat.
Thread shrimp on skewers and place in air fryer with space in between them so they are not touching. Cook for 5-8 minutes and turn skewers halfway through the cook time. Transfer shrimp to a plate and serve with chopped cilantro and extra lime slices.
Note: Air Fryer temperatures can vary, so be sure to check your food is cooked thoroughly. It is always best to start with less time and add more if needed.
HEALTHY AIR FRIED BAKED SALMON
Ingredients:
- 2 6 ounce salmon fillets, bones and skin removed
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Directions: Lightly coat salmon with oil and season both sides with salt and pepper. Place salmon in basket and Air Fry at 360℉ for about 10 minutes.
Check the salmon with a fork to make sure it is cooked to your preference. Serve and enjoy!
